The Creative Closet / Fringe

The Creative Closet
I had so much fun a few weeks ago (pattern on bottom prompt) linking up with The Creative Closet I had to do it again when I saw this week's Fringe prompt. Fringe is everywhere this summer. I posted a month or so ago all about trends and how it's better to save when playing with trends rather than spending a lot and then regretting that purchase later when the trend is out.

Accessorizing with trends is a fabulous way to incorporate a little bit of trend into your outfit without it SCREAMING and taking over your look.

I found this necklace a few weeks ago and thought it was the perfect amount of fringe to play with this summer. (Exact Kenneth Cole fringe necklace here) Better yet...it's on sale right now for $17 on Amazon. You can't beat that price.

Here are some of my other favorite fringe accessories I've seen floating around!
Do you like the fringe trend?

  1. I love the necklace and that peplum top! Peplum is another one of those trends that I really like the look of but haven't found a piece that suits me just yet - I kept picturing it with a pencil skirt - but I like it with those jeans! A more casual option - definitely my speed !

  2. I really like the idea of bringing in a trend with an accessory rather than going crazy with it. The fringe sandals are really cute!

I think I have those sandals! They're fab! And I agree about trends. Spending money on staples that will live in your closet for awhile and be thrifty on all the latest trends. Love the necklace!
