Most of you are likely familiar with Stitch Fix but here's a blurb if not..basically it's a personalized styling service that delivers a box to your door with 4-5 curated clothing and accessory items. You pay $20 a month for the styling fee (which is credited towards your account to spend on items!) and get to try on and return any items you don't want. The concept is genius and I'm still pretty bitter I didn't come up with it. The best part for me is that it pushes me outside of my comfort zone of what I would normally pick out if I were shopping.
1. 41Hawthorn Rosa Tab Sleeve V-neck blouse: RETURNED
I really liked the tangerine color of this blouse but it was honestly very similar to a top I already have and I just wasn't wowed by it.
2. Collective Concepts Delanie Elastic Waist Dress: RETURNED
I am never a big fan of dresses with a dramatic elastic waist. I always feel like I'm having to pull it down and adjust. Plus, it was a little on the short side so I couldn't wear it to work. Please notice the chihuahua butt in the bottom right corner (likely pissing all over the carpet)!
3. 41Hawthorn Montreal Arrow Printed Henley: RETURNED
Eh..my only feeling towards this top. The arrow pattern was cute but it was too sheer to not wear a cami underneath.
No, you're not seeing things...this looks so similar to the previous tops. I was a little surprised and disappointed that they basically sent me 3 shirts that are the same style. However, I liked this one the best and can see wearing it to work and maybe with some leggings or skinny jeans off hours. Normally, I probably wouldn't have bought it but with my $20 styling fee credit I thought it was worth the $24 I ended up spending on it.
5. Romolo Sheridan Enamel Circle necklace: RETURNED
The colors in this necklace are so cute and would go with so many things but it would not lay flat. Every inch I moved the pieces would turn over and I knew it would drive me insane to wear. So back it goes.
