Cinco de Mayo Recipes + Blog Hop

Hola! I definitely do NOT need a holiday to have an excuse to eat Mexican food but it is much appreciated! Have you ever read or heard stories of what some death row prisoners choose as their last meal? These fascinate me and lead me to think WAY too hard about what I would choose. I'm fairly confident I would allocate my $20 budget (yes--that's the amount most states allow--I know way too much about this) to a heaping pile of messy nachos drenched in queso with all the toppings.

It is safe to say I LOVE Mexican food. I could eat it everyday and likely do at least once a week in some variation.

I am guest posting today over at Alanna and Company sharing my version of a Cinco de Mayo happy hour complete with a Mexican Mule and Grilled Corn and Pineapple Salsa! Go check it out here!

  13. I'm visiting you back from the linkup and I love that you're from Kentucky! My mom's family all lives around Lexington and I like to pretend that's where I'm from too. :)

I LOL'ed at your last meal discussion - pretty sure nachos with a big pile of guacamole would be on my top 5 last meal list. It's up there with ice cream and mashed potatoes.
